About Us
In a region with a history of finger-pointing and political division, True North Organizing Network is working to carve out space in the political process for those who have historically not been heard or included.
We believe that human dignity is the heart of justice and progress, and for a true and honest democracy to thrive, every person needs the opportunity to be heard and respected.
Our Organizing Model
In order to tackle these issues and improve our communities for all who call the North Coast home, True North facilitates community organizing efforts in our region. We provide resident leaders with the tools, coaching and infrastructure needed to create systemic change.
True North uses an organizing model called The Arc of Organizing, developed by the PICO National Network. This style of organizing is designed to support ongoing, long-term work and promote sustainability.
