Trillium Teen Center

Empowering teens. Rooted in resilience. Building connections. A space in Del Norte County where young people are seen, heard, and supported.

Who Trillium Is

Trillium Teen Center was born from a legacy of youth leadership in Del Norte County. First envisioned in 2012 during the Youth Leadership Academy, the idea was sparked by more than 60 local teens who expressed a need for peer groups, safe spaces, and access to caring mentors. Though the original teen center was never built, the call was still being made. Today, Trillium carries that dream forward with renewed purpose.

Someone to Go To: Voices from Our Schools

Before Trillium had a name of its own, True North Navigators worked alongside schools in DNATL. Nicole Lebrasca, a former Family Engagement Liaison with Del Norte Unified School District, and Kamilia Schnacker, a parent and family advocate, shared what that support meant to them.

"Denise came and she said, 'Okay, well, you can come to me.' ... She opened my eyes to even more resources I could offer the families at Joe Hamilton."

Nicole Lebrasca and Kamilia Schnacker, from a September 2026 conversation.
